Thursday 13: Thirteen Projects to Work On

  1. Ghosted (urban fantasy novel)
  2. Angelika (paranormal erotic romance novel)
  3. short story for CinemaSpec
  4. short story for In & Out
  5. short story for the lesbian cowboy anthology
  6. Ken’s birthday present (can’t say what it is here, in case he reads this!)
  7. getting to the gym more often
  8. Italians for Black Oak Lodge, March 2009. I have fabric for four. Four! Sheez. I may not complete them all (it’s only a 3-day event, and nobody really dresses on Sunday) but I’ll get ‘em started.
  9. For that matter, Black Oak Lodge. The first Crown Prints ad has already been sent. :-)
  10. various kumihimo braids and finger-crocheted award cords
  11. living room curtains
  12. For that matter, curtains for the media room and bedroom…
  13. Lawrence’s birthday present. ::evil laugh::

Well, I'm pretty sure Lawrence doesn't read this (and if he does, I'm not sure I want to know! LOL), so I can say I'm raising money in his name for a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society and also plan to adopt him a walrus (because of the song), and will deliver certificates and cards and whatnot backstage at the shows in Florida in November.

Oops, I'm answering these out of order!

Black Oak Lodge is a re-enactment (Society for Creative Anachronism) event that we're running next spring; the theme is 1490s Italy and Da Vinci. By "Italians" I meant Italian costuming/garb--I have fabric for four outfits to make. (Primarily the gowns; I already have a corset and hopefully enough chemises. Although I may have to make some new headgear. And jewelry...!)
