Okay, other good things, too:
- Morgana liked her birthday present (which I’m not going to describe because other people are getting similar ones for Yule).
- I picked up a jar of Patak’s Jalfrezi Curry sauce at the British shop (our local shop doesn’t carry it).
- Curled up and watched Must Love Dogs w/Ken whilst eating pizza and drinking wine. Movie was…scattered, but amusing enough. The best part was not having to think for a while!
- Now going to snuggle in bed with a good book and the cats (and Ken, natch), and then dream of a better tomorrow!

Best wishes for a better Sunday. Cost Plus carries Patak's, although I don't know about the Jalfrezi. I'm guessing Indian Haweli in Simi has it, and the owners are the nicest people. They also have premixed henna for $1.99 in a little pointy tube, with which I had great fun in June.
I'm sorry you've had so many "frack" moments this weekend. Hope today is going better for you. (One of the ways we're different: if the multicultural street festival had started blaring loud Spanish music, or just loud Spanish, at me, I'd have considered it an omen that I was supposed to go eat greasy ethnic food and flail like a drunken Muppet to unfamiliar music. But the stupid people all around would be another story.)
Teresa (who's drawing a blank on her Google password, which I thought I had saved, but I guess not...)
Hm, I'll check Cost Plus as well. But if I like this sauce, I'm most likely to ask Rosie Lee's to carry it, because I want to give her my business and KEEP her in business!
It wasn't Spanish music. It was Mexican oompah music, which isn't at all unfamiliar here. (We occasionally have to call the cops to shut down bands so loud they cause our 100-year-old windows to rattle alarmingly).
And I can get the same greasy Mexican food on any street corner in town.
Now, had it been earlier in the day and I'd had the time to go down to the festival, I probably would have enjoyed it. But the fact was that I'd already spent most of the day away, and I needed to get work done, and it was nearly impossible with someone shouting in Spanish nearby...
