What do YOU think?

Ignoring the watermark in the center, of course, what do ya'll think about this cover?

(Not entirely wedded to the pen name, either, so comments are welcome about that as well. I was originally going with Andrea Loewen for my [sweet-to-spicy, non-erotic] romance name, but I really hate being asked "Do we call you Dayle or Andrea?" so I thought keeping Dayle for all genres except erotica made more sense. And since people sometimes think Dayle, even with that spelling, is a guy's name, I figured I'd add a clearly feminine middle name—and I've been struggling with that for weeks. The only other option I kinda like is Holly. Is Dayle Holly Loewen better than Dayle Ivy Loewen?)

Definitely looks like Victorian wallpaper, which is good, but the pattern is a bit too fuzzy and washed out for my taste.

And what's wrong with robots reading your books?

Thanks, Jerry! The book is a ghostly/gothic romance that takes place largely in a Victorian that's being renovated, so the fact that it's recognizable as Victorian wallpaper is perfect, including that it's faded.

Robots?

I like the cover, Dayle. I don't like the "Ivy" middle name. But I'd buy the book based on the cover. I'm a by-the-gut person though, so if someone has a technical suggestion, they're the one to listen to. :-)

Thanks, Kris! You're my target market on this one, so your gut response is what I'm looking for!

What do you think of Dayle Holly Loewen?

Only possible problem with Holly (and only if your mind is as wierd as mine) is the initials... Maredudd
