Thanks, guys! Now, go to my previous post and say something nice about something else I've written, and you might just win a prize! (I'm in need of warm fuzzies, nudge, hint.)
Hmmmmm. Is pom-pons a metaphor for something? Can it be like....my boobs or something? Can I wave those? I'm fresh out of pom-pons (snort). Oh now wait, I just got lemons. I'll wave fresh lemons for you - much better..... Congrats, that's wonderful - especially if it was a loaded one....
I'm not quite sure how the pompom thing got started... I think it was on one of the OCW lists, and honestly, I don't remember me being the one to start saying "shakes pompoms" when congratulating someone on a success, but somewhere along the line, I was doing it. I wasn't the only one, though...
Then, at the workshop last month, someone who couldn't be there sent a care package with candy and a card...and a pair of pompoms specifically for me. So my job was to shake the pompoms every time Denise bought a story...
The funny thing is that I was never a cheerleader. Not cool enough, didn't want to be cool like that. I was a marching band geek!
here is a picture that includes me with the pompoms, and I'll nudge Phae to send me the ones she took, which includes my official LOLCats "Invizbl pmpms!"
Oh, forgot to mention: When I received the pompoms at the workshop, Dean did his patented confused look and muttered "I thought that meant something else."
I'm pretty sure that on the OCW list, the shaking pompoms are my boobs. I really can't tell anymore!
All I know is, I'm now required to take the pompoms (the pink and white ones from the DL Workshop) (well, and my boobs, too, one assumes) to every workshop from now on.

Whoo-whoo! That's a great sale indeed! Congratulations!
::attempts to wave pompons, gives up, wiggles butt instead, in a Middle-Eastern-dancerish type of way::

Congrats again!
Woo hoo! Nothing like a sale to make for some happies. Congratulations!
All sales are good, but this one had a lot of emotional issues attached to it, so I'm especially thrilled!
