I finally picked up my Beautiful Trophy for the first quarter of 2007, when Teresa and I finished Out of the Frying Pan. I still need to get a plaque made with the book title, but I couldn't resist posting a picture. Isn't it gorgeous? It's one of the glass fishing floats that the Oregon Coast is known for.

It's gorgeous hon. Congrats!
That's a fishing float. Wow! It is so cool.
Well, it's never been actually used as a fishing float. But Japanese floats have turned up all along the coast up there, so there are many glass blowers keeping busy making decorative ones.
I also have a purple one (a previous trophy) and a plain green one wrapped in rope (more of a replica of an actual float).
